The RAAF Darwin Joint Health Command Building AWARDED THE PROJECT 11 May 2023 and took approximately 13 months to complete

Project Duration

13 months

The Joint Health Command project at RAAF Darwin was awarded on 11 May 2023 and successfully completed after approximately 13 months. This was a highly rewarding project that incorporated a variety of products from the Lysaght Zenith architectural cladding range.

Although the project involved complex interfaces between various architectural cladding and soffit products, our expertise and workmanship ensured everything aligned perfectly, delivering an outstanding final outcome.

The build faced several logistical challenges due to an unusually heavy wet season, which significantly impacted freight from the eastern states. To maintain the builder’s programme, an alternative transport route was established, and substantial pre-ordering of materials was undertaken to ensure continuity of supply.

Textum also was tasked in installing the Height safety system and Access Ladders.

Key products installed included:

  • 3,200 m2 of Arctic insulated roof panels.
  • 1,300 m2 of Snap Seam wall cladding.
  • 400 m2 of Dominion wall cladding.
  • 300 m2 of Longline eave lining.
  • 400 m2 of Snap Seam soffit lining.
