Project Delivery
NACC 8000 formed part of the New Air Combat Capability infrastructure programme supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Squadron and comprised the delivery of specialist external envelope packages across nine critical defence facilities.
The works were undertaken over a 20-month construction programme and incorporated large-scale roofing, wall cladding, soffit lining, and custom-fabricated stainless steel rainwater systems within a highly controlled defence construction environment.
Project delivery required detailed planning, sequencing, and coordination across multiple work fronts, with construction undertaken in a remote location and through two consecutive wet seasons.
Despite significant environmental and logistical challenges, programme milestones were maintained through strong site leadership
All works were executed to stringent project specifications, quality assurance protocols, and safety requirements as required by defence standards. Focus was placed on workmanship, durability, interface management, and long-term asset performance.
The successful completion and handover of NACC 8000 demonstrate our capability to deliver complex building envelope packages on major defence infrastructure projects, with the capacity to perform in remote environments, under demanding programme conditions, and to the standards required for nationally significant defence assets.
