Robertson Barracks Northern Gym Refurbishment

Project Scope: Remove and Replace Roofing, Wall Cladding , Insulation and Flashings

• Remove Existing 3500m2 Roof Sheeting, Insulation and Flashings.
• Remove Existing 945m2 Wall Cladding, Insulation and Flashings.
• Install new SteelSpan Roof sheeting, Insulation, AshGrid Spacer system, VaporBarrier and Flashings.
• Install New Steelspan Wall Cladding, Insulation, Vapor Barrier and Flashings.

Delivered within a highly constrained 12-week programme, this project required precise planning, disciplined staging and effective interface management to achieve completion within a live defence environment.

Works were executed under tightly controlled construction sequencing, with weekly coordination meetings and continuous engagement across interfacing trades to maintain programme integrity and minimise disruption to surrounding operations.

Successful delivery relied on maintaining strict programme control, managing multiple concurrent work fronts, Pre ordering of Long Lead time materials, and ensuring all roofing and wall cladding activities aligned with broader refurbishment milestones.

The project was completed and handed over on schedule, demonstrating reliable delivery capability across critical defence infrastructure under compressed timeframes.
