Project Delivery:
The Air 7000 PH1B MQ-4C Triton Remotely Piloted Aircraft System programme formed part of a high-priority Defence infrastructure development delivering critical support capability for Australia’s next-generation surveillance platform.
The Triton Maintenance Hangar was a key facility within the five-building package, with early enclosure of the temperature-controlled hangar essential to allow commencement of internal mechanical, electrical and specialist environmental control installations.
Roofing and cladding activities were delivered under a tightly managed construction programme, with sequencing focused on achieving early weatherproofing and maintaining downstream trade access. Through disciplined resource allocation, proactive site coordination and consistent production during challenging wet season conditions in Katherine, our works materially contributed to the overall project being handed over four months ahead of programme.
Operating within a remote Defence environment required close management of labour continuity, weather impacts and supply logistics. Despite these challenges, the building envelope was completed without issue, enabling uninterrupted internal fit-out and supporting successful early delivery of this critical Defence asset
